i dont understand people who dont fw tabula rasa. that s*** felt like srs clicking just some eye opening holy s*** type moment
Think it'll be a The Mint thing where ppl only realize how special the track is in context of the album tbh. It's a huge thing for him to have Armand Hammer on this rapping alongside him
Yo you're Tim on twitter? Lmao been following u on both platforms not realizing you're the same person
Yes thats me brother lmao ,what's good?

Get ghost like an apparition!
Yo this pic goes hard feel like it rly fits Earl's aesthetic too

I really don’t think it’s a big thing for him to have Armand Hammer on his album. He’s whittled his audience down to the point where there’s SIGNIFICANT crossover between the two acts’ fans, it’s not like he’s bringing them to a new audience.
I -like- the song, but I expect a lot out of Earl at this point. The beat leaves a lot to be desired, the bars are great, but part of Earl’s appeal is having one of the best, if not the best, ear for beats to match his lyricism and I would be lying if I said it was solely his rapping that made me such a big fan of him. I expect the complete package on any song he puts out, which is the same reason I don’t -love- 2010. Once again, I am not denying he did (as well as Armand Hammer) bring it his all to those first 2 singles lyrically, but they are not songs I will be repeating like I did December 24/The Bends/hell even EAST. Tabula Rasa just felt a little too formulaic as a WHOLE
I don’t hate the songs, they’re good, but Earl himself set the bar way too high for me for me to love. Hope this clarifies my initial comment on Tabula Rasa for anyone

The same 2 second loop for an entire song only works when the songs are max 2 minutes imo. I almost fall asleep by the time Earls verse starts bcus the first guys verse is boring as f***.
Think this is gonna be his best album
W/ Young Guru mixing I think it’ll be a more accessible and clear, but with the producers he has lined up it is still in that lane he’s been occupying the last few years

Tabula rasa
Real good sample work w Tabula Rasa, how the vocal part of the sample slowly reveals itself as the track progresses
