Think it'll be a The Mint thing where ppl only realize how special the track is in context of the album tbh. It's a huge thing for him to have Armand Hammer on this rapping alongside him

People didn't like The Mint outside of the album? I think that was the first track I liked on that album.

This might end up being my favorite Earl album since "Doris".

Instrumentals are more lively & less abstract.

He co-produces on some of these but it's not listed on the official tracklist post

Really over the IDLSIDGO cuts? Feel like that’s the most energy he ever rapped with besides maybe the self titled tape if u like that kinda voice from him

I love black noise but I can’t lie that I don’t love 2010 and titanic beats, mourning is better than all 3 singles imo. Tabula rasa my favorite of the bunch though and I’m excited for Friday I really don’t know what to expect

The Mint clicked for me on first listen, that’s when I knew we had a classic ontheway (pun intended)

All his beats for Earl slap,in fact my favorite earl performances have been on black noise beats

I like earl on his own prod the most but black noise is detroit royalty and oblivion one of my favorite projects of the last few years. 2010 and titanic dope but not among my favorite beats of his, earl went hard though

It's just a decent song for me. It's great feature to have but I feel like I've heard this song a few times by earl now. 2010 and titanic sound more fresh but I dont think titanic is a great song.

I actually dont feel much hype for this album but Earl has surprised me more than once before so I'm still looking forward to hearing it.

I really don’t think it’s a big thing for him to have Armand Hammer on his album. He’s whittled his audience down to the point where there’s SIGNIFICANT crossover between the two acts’ fans, it’s not like he’s bringing them to a new audience.

I -like- the song, but I expect a lot out of Earl at this point. The beat leaves a lot to be desired, the bars are great, but part of Earl’s appeal is having one of the best, if not the best, ear for beats to match his lyricism and I would be lying if I said it was solely his rapping that made me such a big fan of him. I expect the complete package on any song he puts out, which is the same reason I don’t -love- 2010. Once again, I am not denying he did (as well as Armand Hammer) bring it his all to those first 2 singles lyrically, but they are not songs I will be repeating like I did December 24/The Bends/hell even EAST. Tabula Rasa just felt a little too formulaic as a WHOLE

I don’t hate the songs, they’re good, but Earl himself set the bar way too high for me for me to love. Hope this clarifies my initial comment on Tabula Rasa for anyone

This is basically how I feel.
