Quantity and quality can and do coexist. Look at his peers - Armand Hammer (+ their individual work), Quelle, Mach, MIKE, etc.

It seems pretty fair to me that we can be frustrated at the fact that two and a bit years after FoC we're getting just 24 minutes of new music.

For someone like Earl who said he’s all about presenting, I find it so incredibly strange that he would roll out this album by telling everybody that there was a scrapped album before it, and going as far to give the title and some info

He’s asking for fans to bother him about the scrapped album instead of appreciating the new one. Just seems like an odd move. I don’t wanna hear him crying about it when fans inevitably bug him about this s***

2022 starting strong

All he had to do was not talk about this scrapped album in every interview and no one would be able to annoy him. Idk what he’s trying to do but if fans bother him and don’t fully appreciate what we get he did it to himself. Mind boggling way to roll out an album, tell us all about this other one that sounds much more interesting

Well the other thing is that we've heard so many of those other tracks, either in full or snippets. Black Emperor, Homebound, that snippet with Mavi, etc. And all of it sounded amazing. So naturally its dissapointing to not be getting those joints, regardless of how good these new ones might be.

Some good points in here by @DwindlingSun and @2words that I wanna respond to. I think Earl is sometimes his worst enemy because as much as the brevity thing works well, I think he undersells himself a lot. Like to go from a 19 track album to 10 tracks is understandable for the reason he gave but seriously, the man has so much s*** in the vault he could slap on there or he could have recorded more if it didn’t fit the vision. Second, him mentioning the scrapped album was confusing to me too, especially because he knows how much people fiend for the unreleased s***, like what was the point of alienating a angsty fanbase even further lol anyway SICK!
