I think Earl is sometimes his worst enemy because as much as the brevity thing works well, I think he undersells himself a lot. Like to go from a 19 track album to 10 tracks is understandable for the reason he gave but seriously, the man has so much s*** in the vault he could slap on there or he could have recorded more if it didn’t fit the vision. Second, him mentioning the scrapped album was confusing to me too, especially because he knows how much people fiend for the unreleased s***, like what was the point of alienating a angsty fanbase even further lol anyway SICK! Out tonight

I'm more confused at why he mentioned it to one interviewer but told another that there was all this logic behind releasing Sick! instead.

Yeah I’m pretty sure he’s given like 3 different explanations. That’s really throwing me off too
he said it was because the pandemic hit and people couldn’t fly anymore
He said it was because he just didn’t like the album, it sounded gross and like a mayor campaign or whatever and wasn’t true enough
Then he says it’s because it was lost on a computer
The inconsistency in the interviews is kind of unsettling and his team also let one of the interviews write disinformation about Doris so idk if he’s being quoted badly or what

Just a few pages back I was trying to tell them smh. I hate when fans think they know better than the artist with stuff like this. Now I need him to re-confirm for the idiots that Solace is an album and not a god damn song
