    The landscape would definitely be different regardless of which artist you prefer

    If he didn’t drop since 2017 we’d probably be in a much more interesting place just because he’s gone the same way rap got more interesting when Hov or Em took absences after being in the top solidified spot for so long

    You had Kendrick, Drake, Future and Cole for the 2010s

    Kanye, Wayne, TI, Em, 50, Nelly for 2000s

    90s had their own legends

    With the 2020s it's STILL Drake, Kendrick, Future, Kanye etc

    It's stagnant atm and I think a big part of that is streaming making it extremely hard for newer artists to have any longevity

    knocked loose just played Coachella and then dropped some of the hardest s*** I’ve ever heard, didn’t compromise their sound at all.

    high vis is one of the best bands rn, it’s not like straight hardcore but they’re still part of the scene. if nothing else I think people on here would like them
