Listened to this front to back for the first time in a LONG time last night. It took me back my youthful years and to the remembers of when it first came out. Man what a time. I felt unstoppable and Abel was the soundtrack to those times in my life.

Hob is a perfect blend of the darker elements of the trilogy with more accessible songwriting choices (big hooks, catchy melodies, less abstract production/mixing choices)

Plus it’s the debut record from him so it has the advantage of being first as well
