I see a lot of people saying “it’s so good to finally get closure on Jesse’s story” but why do we as an audience always need closure?
Audiences get pissed that some directors treat them as “stupid” but then turn around and get angry when we get endings like The Sopranos or something vague
I thought it looked gorgeous & the directing was spot on but this was clearly just fan service & a ploy to give him a happy ending
its just as much closure as the end of breaking bad too like nothing really changes
jesse drives off into a new life that we have to imagine
but what theyre doing now in better call saul proves that even after they change their identity and move the story doesnt end so its not even really a happy ending
aaron paul is mid
bland actor imo
yea, never really got the hype for him tbh. he mostly came off whiny and annoying to me throughout breaking bad.

same, his acting in s1 so cheesy to me now lmao
hes a good dude tho
Didn’t hate it or loved it I thought it was just good
There was one camera angle and shot Vince did that surprised and impressed me
When Jesse finally gets confirmation that Walter died on the radio...and we see the bittersweet reaction

Y’all really acting like he didn’t outshine Bryan Cranston multiple times during season 4 & 5
Sounds like y’all didn’t like the character, not his performance

we will have to agree to disagree there.
Never liked Jesse
Uh I started liking the movie after a bit because it does have some western s*** and I like on the run stuff but I’d agree with @Bad_Finger_Boogie review yeah
I won’t cast aspersions but if so that’s pretty childish.
That being said i’m going on a huge binge of multiple different shows including the wire, i’m willing to understand how people would like one more then the other
It wasn’t mind blowing but I enjoyed it for what it was. Definitely didn’t stain the series or anything like that. Was cool to get more content.
The gun duel scene came off as corny to me tho honestly.
