nah cyberpunk brings a lot more to the table than RDR2 or AC Origins (best visuals and performance)
but you arent wrong rly, optimization is key but that often means degraded visuals or long load times or missing content/details

RDR2 devs weren’t also developing to utilize the next gen as well.
Trying to support last gen consoles means developing for PC plus 5 separate other consoles. No need to try to make everyone happy and overworking in the end just to compromise for old hardware.
Cyberpunk visually is doing a lot more than RDR2.

Development for games will be way longer developing for PS4s and Xbox One’s as well as next gen and PC.
That’s 5 separate platforms they have to not only optimize for but also do thorough testing for as well.

Very true, the disastrous CP2077 PS4/X1 launches were important for devs to see the results of their inaction

I don’t think there was an official announcement that it will release in 2020, I could be wrong but that release year only came from a placeholder date on Best Buy’s preorder listing for the game

Fromsoft games are never all that technically impressive, it’s the art style that truly carries their games.
Whereabouts Bluepoint is usually top of the line. Could be different this time though, maybe they’ve been given a significantly bigger budget.

FromSoft not known for having the best graphics, their art direction and gameplay is always hard asf tho so theres no reason to worry unless you one of them weirdos obsessed with graphics.

There were a lot of design decisions in Demon's Souls that just looked off. Like those f***in facial animations. Dudes looked like Shrek when they were talking.
