Damn the Ancient meteoric ore greatsword is amazing, and been having fun with it for the past 10 hours or so
But I'm kinda being pulled towards the Fire Knights Greatsword + Messmer incantantions Faith/Str build ngl
It helps that I just beat Messmers ass so I can also cosplay as him with his armor damn

Better off leaning into it fully and going Dex/Faith since Messmer’s spear is peak

After replaying some DLC boss fights through online multiplayer in the past few days I've come to the conclusion that the boss fights I enjoy the most are:

Divine Beast Dancing Lion
Bayle the Dread
Commander Gaius (did not expect this guy to end up on the list but he here now)
Midra

smoked rellana first try, smoked messmer second try, can't even get this ancient dragon to half health. it always fascinates me what bosses i struggle with compared to others lol

Do you guys ever summon char npcs or online players for boss fights?

Thats the only made up stipulations i have on myself. I never summon online help and i almost never summon npc chars, the only exception to npc chars is if its added lore or furthers a side quest line.

Its how ive been since day 1. But o do help a bunch of people out there. Like i hepled a bunch of people fight ds1 ornstein smough, ds3 freia, ds2 gank bosses, bloodborne Ludwig, ER Melania etc.

And in ER i use spirits against mob zones & duo/gank bosses. But i 1v1 most single bosses including side/dungeon ones. Im a big fan of the spirit mechanic tho. I love Pokemon-like mechanics in games like Shin Megami Tensei, Nioh 1 n 2 etc.

Yeah some of them add a lot of flavor to the fight, like Igon

Faxx i did igon too but igon doesnt do much.

Most of the lore/questline specific chars kinda dont do much now that i think about lmao, but their random nobody ones like the random aggro af samurai dude in ds3 you can summon can basically1v1 Ludex Gubdyr by itself an totally rob people of the fight

Also forgot to mention i avoid using the really op spirits or the too aggressive spirits like Tiche, the self clone one, Bloodbound and a few others.

Azula Beastmen & Commander Huw are my favs.

If you summon Patches for Radahn he immediately teleports out

I beat the final boss on my 7th try and took about 20 attempts on the dancing lion it’s always been weird to me which bosses are hard to me

It's capped at 60 on PC so if you're playing on current gen there's no point

I think he means for the complete edition with shadow of the erdtree

It’ll be steady fps for boss fights though. Ps5 is not constant smooth fps compared to what my 4070 super can do.

I just love the look of the particles and effects . Might just do it for sekiro when that goes on sale

Yea, s*** is amazing, I'm still using it, decided to stick with it to the end of the DLC
Beat Messmer yesterday using it

The DLC burnt me out. I’m finally at the end boss and have no desire for another 50-80+ attempt gauntlet.

This the type if attack they would put in DS2 and Bloodborne but with no effects whatsoever but the hitbox would still be the entire room

The DLC made me want more DLC

Messmer is one of my fav fights in the whole game, 10/10 design, so much fun
