This fight was so overhated the only valid fixes are reducing the lighting and the double cross slash attack

This fight was bad, phase 2 mostly, stop conflating difficulty with quality ffs. I dont think theres a single person itt who didnt have to search how to dodge at least one of his attacks besides the unavoidable double cross. Im a morgott defender but i couldnt defend the lack of openings in this fight. The special effects were bad, you couldnt see anything
Phase 2 of consort is the first time ive ever felt like a souls boss was truly trial and error because he's unreadable.
The fight becomes actually very fun once you've learned his moveset, but the process of learning him is frustrating and requires searching online or talking to others like i did here.
Malenia only had 1 waterfowl, this boss had like 4 of them.

PS: its mostly the reddit users who want difficult fights even if unfair

now we will never get the original fight back. Like yeah the fight was tough as f*** especially after already being drained from the rest of the challenging dlc bosses. But we wouldve adapted to it cause we are humans. People said the same about Malenia and 2 years later she is everybodys favorite boss

Im posting too much I dun even know how bad the nerf was but I just have ptsd from the Radahn nerf cause that boss has been ruined for me since. And beating him the first time pre Nerf was one of my favorite moments

You can adapt to a fight, it doesnt make It good. I adapted to bed of chaos but its the worst piece of s*** ive ever played, i adapted to ancient dragon but its f***ing trash (not comparing the two to radahn, just refuting your point).
And no malenia is not a fan favorite, people still loathe waterfowl, and i say this as someone who loves her fight despite the evident issues.
