Well surely the real problem is world poverty especially the disparity between rich nations and poor ones.
Although to be fair it's deeper than that as there is poverty and hunger in the rich countries too.
It's obviously much deeper than rich people or governments throwing billions at it. It requires a complete overhaul of global economics and governance.
People should give to charity when they can but the real problem is ofc systemic and we'll always have poverty until that changes

We would need global systemic change of a currently unfathomable nature for that unfortunately. We should still be tryna push for that ofc and no doubt billionaires and the current economic system does stand in the way.
