Who is the goat in this situation?
So freedom of speech doesnt apply to him?
alex jones tho
i think it was a bit naive of people to assume that absolutely none of the capable people would want to work for him.
he obviously has fans who are capable of running Twitter. so many of them (even those who were official and non twitter blue verified) were in his comments asking to help, for job interviews etc.
it's strange to me honestly that people thought this wouldn't be the case, it's strange to me that we all constantly forget that there's life happening outside of our own personal bubbles.
I feel like most people are overreacting to Elon taking over Twitter.
Nothing has changed about my daily experience.
Free speech absolutist (except if the speech is a liability to my business I now own)

I mean you gotta remember he's got very smart people working for him at SpaceX and Tesla. Prolly smarter than your average Twitter employee. Although maybe prepared to put up with that s*** because they actually doing something that benefits society.

In what way does space travel benefit society?
You cannot be serious man
Tell me
Things like satellites, the microwave, microchips all have their creation founded in our quest to reach space
He's now landing rockets reducing the cost of space travel exponentially
Imagine if we had to throw away the plane after every flight, it would be prohibitively expensive
Spacex is the first private company to achieve these space travel milestones

I mean let's be real those are both incredibly important inventions, microchips especially, but space travel itself, particularly commercial space travel and the dumbass Mars colony idea is an overall waste of resources, yeah we invented a lot of stuff on the way to the moon, but reaching there did about as much for humanity as a guy climbing Mount Everest, it's a VERY cool thing but it's not beneficial to humanity as a whole
In the mid-1960s, as a prelude to NASA's Apollo Lunar Landing Program, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory developed the technology known as digital image processing to allow computer enhancement of Moon pictures. Digital image processing has found a broad array of other applications, particularly in the field of medicine, where it is employed to create and enhance images of the organs in the human body for diagnostic purposes. Two of these advanced body imaging techniques are CT or CATScan and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
