“if you don’t think you have to sacrifice to level up in this world”
Nobody said this. You are continuing to argue a point nobody even made lol.
He literally said “you don’t have to sacrifice unless you believe you skill set maximizes at this level”
You gotta sacrifice regardless of what your skill set is at any level if you want to raise your standard of life.
Passive/residual income is different than getting paid for going to office for 8hrs. I probably missed the larger context there but I am stating you don't need to go to office except some industries/fields especially when it's been a proven model.
I work at a FAANG and no one from my team has gone to office in 2 years, my team has grown in size and productivity with commute time being eliminated.
You have to put in the work to build the passive income and my point was in our company people in office are 4x more productive than those out of office for many reasons
Residual income built
Also, you don’t think you have to sacrifice to level up in this world, you are in for a rude awakening.
sacrifice what? You have to find a balance. I make more than what you stated and can make twice as much by making these "sacrifices" but why would I?
I take 5-6 weeks off a year minimum. Have amazing work life balance and get to be flexible. Ive been to 60+ countries and my friends who are making way more haven't lived life imo.
It comes down to what you want. I just know for me no matter how wealthy or rich I become, there is some s*** that you can only do in your 20s. You can offer me 1mil a year but I wont sacrifice this.

I think his point was that some people don’t have to make sacrifices they don’t want to have to make or that they feel are not worth it in order to make money.

And you’ll be working till your 55-65.
I’ll be done at 40, the latest.
Been to Jamaica, Breckenridge, and New York this year.
Balance.

Right. It all comes down to what you value and what you want out of life, which I said earlier.

Bro just because dont want to go back to the office 5 days a week doesn’t mean they don’t want more out of life. Probably means the opposite. Like what are you talking about

Been very clear in what I’m talking about. Never said people who dont go to an office five days a week don’t want more out of life.

This whole thread is about working from home. You’re saying that because people don’t want to go back to the office they don’t want to work as hard and this is proof they want less out of life

This whole argument is based on the premise that worker productivity is significantly higher in the office and it's just not
And even then you should ask yourself why your first instinct is to put the bosses interests over the workers
thas not my instinct in the sense that i’m tryin to tell y’all my priorities
i’m sayin how i think businesses will work goin forward
i think it’s possible for ppl to be just as productive at home as they are in a workplace. i don’t think most ppl will hold themselves to that standard tho. they don’t want to. i don’t want to either lol. but that’s a primary reason business would act the way i’m pretty certain it will
I’m just going by what you said man
Working more, spending money on school or training to get more skills, following a strict budget to save money, taking personal time to learn a new skill, etc are all examples of sacrifices that people can make to “level up in life”
And again not everyone works in sales so it’s pointless to try and apply your situation to everyone else’s
Sales or not, I promise you the mentality of “why would I do more than I’m paid for” is going to get you nowhere further in life. How you do anything is how you do everything.
The man who does more than he is paid for will soon be paid for more than he does.
This is not true in 99% of non sales jobs. You're speaking from an industry where if you dont sale = you don't eat. Of course you're going to be pressing your workers for productivity.
stuck up a****** is a stuck up a******
really wish this guy would get socked just once on camera

Yea that was cap, on top of the fact my income is increasing exponentially every year because of the residual. This is the beginning.

yea and on a trajectory to making 7 figures in my mid 30s and 40s.
you dont have to sacrifice your 20s to this s***.
Your balance may be different but you cant downplay how others view things.

Didn’t sacrifice my twenties. Started when I was 28. 31 now. On the same trajectory after two years. Also, pretty sure you are capping because you said you work for “FAANG”, which is just an acronym for 5 companies. Why wouldn’t you just say which one you work for? Big cap.
Never downplayed how anyone else viewed things.
I don’t see the issue
He’s telling his employees to work or go work for someone else
Isn’t that normal or am I missing something

he is saying go to work for 40 hours minimum
talent that is mediocre will have to abide but good talent doesnt need to.
FAANG and other companies literally pay almost double for same positions with better work/life balance. Why would you stay at tesla with these demands.

FAANG isn’t a company big capper.
