WFH should be the norm and commuting to the office should be a twice a week thing at the absolute max
I hope the 4 people who liked my post realize I was being sarcastic
Because no other generation in our history has ever had to deal with these issues before

Maybe the cycle should break?
The rich get richer, why doesnt it affect em?
Good, this generation is soft af. Complaining about gas prices, housing market, inflation in general, but sitting on your ass all day
Funny thing is that literally every single person who works remotely will admit that they spend half the work day relaxing and vibing
But they’ll also say they’re more productive at home.
It’s not that you’re more productive at home. It’s just that you aren’t even applying 80% effort when you go in for work
Don’t get me wrong. Working from home is a great thing. But people wanna get paid for working 8 hours when they know damn well they aren’t working for 8 hours. Companies ain’t gonna let that slide.

Does it matter if they get the job done? Most employees won’t go 100% unless they doing their “dream” job or self-employed

Nobody was applying any effort in the office either. It was all bullshit posturing and pretending to be more busy than you actually are. WFH simply removes the bs from the equation.
Pretty much all the studies I’ve seen say WFH is more productive. No time wasted on commuting so you’re better rested, meetings are more to the point and there are less of them, etc

That’s what I’m saying. It’s not that people are more productive at home. It’s just that they not putting in any effort at the office. That’s a problem
You should be giving 100% any time you clock in even if it’s just for a paycheck. If you find yourself finishing your work early then you need to speak to your supervisors about opportunities for bigger and better things.
Instead we just just have people bullshitting in the office and then when they wfh they work fr for a few hours and get paid to watch Netflix the rest of the shift

This is not realistic. There lots of different kinds of workers and lots of different types of work. Work mismatch is inevitable in our system and maximum productivity is not even desirable at this point if it ever was.
Honestly there's reason to mandate work from home considering CO2 emissions
Nigga found r/Overemployed and said f*** no
there goes my dream of working at two ev startups at one time

When you become a business owner you will have to do it if your business last more than 10 years to see the economy rise and dip like crazy!

im sure there's a center right newspaper columnist that said the same thing in the 70s, probably word for word too
Only mfers that d***ride billionaires are people who got lucky in life and didn’t have to face tough times ever
nah they're not the only ones, i'd argue that there's even a class double consciousness, similar to how dubois coined the term in a racial perspective
plenty of poor ppl who will never have opportunity will blow this guy till they die

The man has way too much on his plate; the economy didnt change from April until now. We know inflation is crazy, we know a recession is coming. I don’t know how buying your third billion company and removing remote helps any of your businesses.
