    Alot

Yeah it will end but I’m in other projects now. It was a pretty big project in the space and garnered me a lot of reputation. I’ve become decently known as a result. Work hasn’t dried up

The glorification of work and money is unending and disgusting. Again and again we learn that happiness cannot be bought once you have broken above poverty. Happiness always resets to a baseline. A famous study took lottery winners (who won millions) and people who became paralyzed around the same time and measured their levels of happiness over the course of years. At around the 3 year mark both sets of people had returned to their baseline levels of happiness. We know it is community, friendship, and love that brings true happiness. And yet you still cap for work. Sad.

    F*** you gimme money

I'm officially a senior admin but upon getting my job and af the interview they said im officially a a***yst so I dont get compensated like one. Its on all my stuff as a***yst.. I merge and combine data from different departments to showcase problem areas in the company. Mind you I was only hired for one department but due to them cutting cost i help others out. Ive helped finance, safety and labor departments out.. When not doing that im logging in 100s of different data sheets or whatever. I have a large part of my job automated now so I used
the time to study at work or apply for other jobs or surf ktt.

I dont mind the job. I just really hate my management. Ive had a constant back and forth with them since I started .

You can ignore this if you don’t feel comfortable answering, but:

    1) what industry is this? Just like “corporate”?

    2) how much do you get paid annually?

The 9-5 grind isn't necessarily a bad thing if you're able to find a career you enjoy. That said, it sounds like you need a new job desperately at a company that respects the work-life balance.

Only reason I work 7 days a week is because in my company Sunday is double time.

So if you work Saturday and Sunday your paycheck increase by 40% AFTER TAXES.

Massive jump in income, god bless the union! Well, our union the local 8888 is technically a puppet but whatever

    Damn for real?

I thought you were gonna say somewhere close to my salary (I’m a teacher) based on how much you work. There’s no way I’d put in that much work for that lame of a situation. Get out man, there’s so many other opportunities that pay better and are more enjoyable for 45k or higher. Get a degree if you need to.
