It is. Pnd birthed a whole generation of r&b with pn1 and 2 and produced them by himself.

Solange got higher scores from critics but what exactly did she bring to the game or bring to music besides a good album

I don’t really feel like PND inspired much quality music, and thats not to take away from the quality of PND’s actual musicz

Solange restored a feeling and made people excited about rnb again and a lot of artist kinda came after that like Kelela, Jazmin Sullivan’s resurgence etc. i feel like Solange’s impact definitely gave us better s***
