RIP to your friend man. Sorry for your loss. Ive had 3 suicides close to me but only one where I had deep guilt about what I could have done since I saw him two days before he did it and knew him longer. The other 2 were heavy but I wasnt as close to them and didn't know their headspaces like I did the other one. I was pallbearer for that one also. One thing that felt good when it seemed everything was grim was hanging with friends who knew him and rehashing the funny s*** we did together. Made me remember a bunch of stuff I had forgotten and it felt warm.

thank you for the kind words and that sounds harrowing. much love your way. i had those feelings about my friend when it first happened, like maybe i could have been different in school the day before or something but when i really think about it, he gave me no indication that he was that torn up. it's easy to say and hard to really believe, but it's not your fault homie.

Happened to me recently and I was nervous of saying the wrong thing , just wanted to help

had two people i know just try to commit suicide in the span of two weeks they're both still here thank god

my uncle threw himself off his apartment building. s*** f***ed my mom up pretty badly

Had suicidal thoughts since I was in middle school.

They come and go.

Last year I was really tempted to do it. And finally confessed to my mom that I've been having thoughts.

But I got over it for now and Im just working on doing me

its ok, it happened when i was pretty young ( early teens) so didn't really grasp the situation until i was older. made my mom more emotionally unstable than she was before - we're all in a good place now though!
