Blonde skits are so wack
Only skippable things of that album
nah just fb story and i wouldnt consider it wack at all just...idk
do yall also hate with a passion the whole Jasmine broke my heart s*** on good guy???
it's just people talking about love and their lives man idk why ppl get so up in arms about it, seen this thread a dozen times
Finally some real criticism about Blonde. That skit is garbage. It’s like everyone on this forum overlooks it when they’re d***riding Blonde
I think it’s two fold
It’s stupid that she would do that over fb
At the same time, if you cant be at least a bit public about you relationship, especially one your on regularly something is wrong
The skit makes sense. Yes you'd be like "Why didn't he just add her" but the thing about social media, it's a relationship killer. Brings in so many unnecessary variables to take into account and argue about.
I for example have had several girls I was with, get upset over things that I post, take memes to heart, overthink my posts, and get upset over girls reacting and commenting on my posts. All these issues which could have been avoided had we never jumped into each other's digital space.
Yeah I love Blonde but that wasnt it
He thought he was making some profound intellectual statement but it just doesnt make sense
Also no one in Franks listener demographic uses Facebook. Not in 2016 and not now

cause its a skit and not the actual music

Why can nobody itt understand that
It makes sense that the main point of the story, however muddled, would resonate with Frank. He's basically trying to say that social media adds an extra layer of difficulty to romantic relationships and can reveal flaws in them, and that's fine.
The problem is that the story itself takes this premise to an unrelatable extreme because the vast majority of us would have added the girl immediately and it would have been over with. Everyone who has a problem with this track takes issue with that. Like if you've really been living with a person for years, wouldn't you want another way to contact them? Or do you never use Facebook? If it's the latter, just have a conversation about it.
So yeah, I totally get it. It's also a little ridiculous.

that “jasmine broke my heart” part is attached to the ending of a song and it’s so short that no one cares.

Why can nobody itt understand that
Seemed like a very simple concept to me but apparently not.
i mean, if the b**** i live with refuse to accept me on facebook, I'd leave that b**** too
Am I the only one who thinks that it’s one of the stupidest skits ever? Unless I’m misunderstanding it, why would he not add the girl he’s with on Facebook? S*** just feels some pseudo intellectual bullshit
Honestly, it sounds like she a dodged a bullet by leaving his ass
i mean, if the b**** i live with refuse to accept me on facebook, I'd leave that b**** too
I mean, did the dude HAVE a Facebook? If he did, then what f***ing standing could he possibly have? If not, then just tell her you don’t have one, because you don’t.

"I was just telling that I got this girl before
And we was together since 3 years
And uh, I was not even cheating on her or what
And Facebook arrived and she wanted me to accept her on Facebook
And I don't want it because I was like in front of her
And she told me like, "Accept me on Facebook"
It was virtual, made no sense
So I say, "I'm in front of you, I don't need to accept you on Facebook"
She started to be crazy
She thoughts that because I didn't accept her
She thought I was cheating
She told me like, uh, "It's over"
I can't believe you
I said, "Come on, you're crazy" because like, yeah
I'm in front of you, I'm every day
Here in your house
That's, it means like it's jealousy
Pure jealousy for nothing
You know
Virtual thing"
I always was under the impression that he didn't have one because he says "And Facebook arrived and she wanted me to accept her on Facebook, and I don't want it"
really unnecessary skit it doesn't even add anything to the album

Then just say “I don’t have a Facebook, and I’m not gonna make one just to add you to it if I’m never gonna actually use it.” instead of turning it into an existential, pseudo-intellectual question concerning presenting a relationship in the physical space to raise awareness of its existence vs presenting it on a digital/online platform.
Ur looking at it from a surface level, it’s basically commentary on love in the digital age
