those half studio half live albums always bugged me for some reason like that, rattle and hum, ummagumma etc.

Sabbath live is always like double or triple the speed because they were all coked out of their minds

need there to be some significant difference to the studio versions, im not a fan of live albums where they just perform the exact arrangements

only heard a few 90s live albums

Yeah they have to spice it up a bit, or just have crazy energy for me to enjoy it

yeah the Kiss Alive crowd noise isn't too obnoxious and i can tolerate it since the difference from the studio versions of those songs is worthwhile

i havent listened to it very much but I wasn't really into the Cheap Trick canonized live album much because of the crowd noise volume, even if its a real crowd

Really unsettling psychological horror joint and one of the best depictions of schizophrenia. Like I said the sound design in this joint

Not a Deep Purple guy but This Time Around / Owed To G is masterpiece material.

Imo Opeth live joint is one of the best in metal especially for growled vocals and the cleans sound
