Honestly I'm still friends with a few of them too but havent played or talked with any of them in months (maybe over a year). The way the clan just f***ing discombobulated was crazy. Rarely see any of the other members play SSL anymore, couple havent signed into Steam in years, most playing random s***, and I don't think the leader has played the game since then either (he was #6 all time in XP and I believe he's below 30 now in the 3 years since then).

The thing I liked about Dano’s Riddler is for all the general similarities to Ledger’s Joker he’s actually the complete opposite. Joker was wild and schizophrenic and messy out in the open but ideologically he was consistent. Riddler plays up this mastermind role but when it comes down to it he’s an absolute mess who’s so delusional he thinks Batman has come to the same conclusions as him. His own ideology is completely incoherent. It’s like he doesn’t know really deep down what he’s doing this for, he just likes the sound of his own voice giving out a justification.

I was actually going to leave but the clan quite literally had a falling out the day before I was gonna leave.

It wasn't nearly as serious as Aruji's situation either (why I said it's even dumber than it sounds), as the entire purpose of the group was to play the game together. The leader had issues with how people were playing. That's how f***ing petty the dude was. Complete man-child. It was a non-issue

I meant in the context of the film. I’ll give you that Warner Bros is attempting to copy Disney’s formula some what at least in terms of marketing spin offs and interconnectivity. I’m not gonna defend it but I’ll say that at this point it doesn’t feel like their spin offs are essential viewing in the same way. I don’t think you’ll need Peacemaker to understand the next Suicide Squad film or need the Arkham Asylum show to understand The Batman 2.
