Music plays in the background and you let it color your life. It doesn't take literal moments off your life like sitting down for a film does.
Feel pretty lucky to have a job where I can just chuck music on in the background if I want
I feel like this is a super obvious point that doesnt get mentioned enough. Even in school they were "he captivated the whole country"
When he’s on the panel with 3 Jewish comedians talking about how he might fall under Hitler’s charms

My girlfriend was doing a paper on the holocaust a few months ago and we ended up watching like 10 movies/docs on the subject, plus a ton of reading. Extremely grim and depressing but fascinating. You can go down that hole forever discovering more and more f***ed up s***. Had to pull myself away from it eventually,
gotta have a decent mastery of the music of English language countries before ~30 so i can dive into other regional music
plan is to hit total musical enlightenment by 50

When you put yourself in the shoes of the people and watch his speeches with subtitles I could easily see how it would be rousing
Of course anybody that was really paying attention and afforded to left Germany immediately or just had to shut up
Not super likely to find a more beautiful one than this buddy

It's literally just a slice of life
wouldn't matter at all which country it was
Truly stunning in it's depiction of everyday life. It's brief you could watch it literally right now.
Same man I can't imagine having to talk to people all day
I quite like chatting s***e to anyone that wants to listen at work but I need that balance with the quiet time. Working from home has made my life so much better, I still have meetings and get to talk to people every day but now I always get at least half a day to myself as well
when the former commander of the Nazi extermination camp Treblinka, Kurt Franz, was arrested in 1959 a search of his home yielded a scrapbook with horrific photos of the massacre titled "Beautiful Years."

Oh yeah I'll definitely banter all day once I get going which is why I try not to

Lol yeah I'm not looking into the concentration camps at all
there were enough horrors to read and hear about going on everywhere else
