2020's got at least 3 albums that'll crack my top 20. was a good year for music.
Yeah I'll have several too for sure.
Charli, Narrow Head, Squid, HAIM, maybe some others too
@Aruji these Shaking the Habitual re-listens continue to be fascinating. I can't decide if I'll put this in my top 25 or somewhere in the 60s, or in between. "A Tooth For an Eye" and "Full of Fire" would both contend for a top 20 spot in 21st century songs, while the rest of the album kind of peaks and valleys all over. Even the stuff I'm indifferent to is at least interesting. Forgot how long half these songs were lmao. If this was an 8 song album of the very best songs it would probably be a top 10 album of the century for me. But maybe my personal omissions would disrupt the album's pacing idk
Song rankings
1. A Tooth For an Eye
2. Full of Fire
3. Raging Lung
4. Wrap Your Arms Around Me
5. Without You My Life Would Be Boring
6. Ready to Lose
7. Stay Out Here
8. A Cherry on Top
9. Old Dreams Waiting to Be Realized (itd growing on me a lil)
10. Networking (this one grew off me lol, still unique and interesting)
11a. Crake
11b. Oryx
13. Fracking fluid injection (still terrible)
Yeah there some songs on that album that bring it down for me cause they aren't particularly great and i always forget how f***ing long they go on for
Yeah Narrow Head's Satisfaction making my top 10 for sure. Their newest album Moments of Clarity probably top 30.

So this is what all the hype is about huh
i wonder if id be the only one to have a 2020s album as #1 in the century list
im strongly considering it
What album is that ? :mystery: Black Midi
I’m digging that Metro Boomin record from last year. Nice just listening to a good ol fashion bump in the whip album. Metro Spider with Young Thug goes really hard.
would be pretty badass if this was the album and there was no studio cut
smoked some marlboro reds for the first time in years and it was like smoking a pack of ass
camels are just too smooth
true started with marlboro reds myself but they taste like s*** now
@twinkletoez punisher first listen pretty solid

:mystery: until the list drops. not black midi lol

Has any band ever released a live album of all new material?
Fav songs?

just relistened to Networking and Fracking Fluid Injection.
Agree on Networking. It's a rather lightweight track to balance out a couple of the heavier tracks I guess and bring some groove back. However, it kinda goes on a bit too long for it's own sake. I do like it tho.
Still love Fracking Fluid Injection. Then again, I also like Here Comes The Indian a lot and I hear a few similarities.
Has any band ever released a live album of all new material?
the first might have been Band of Gypsys
(not counting jazz)
