4 and up is rare for me. 3 is still good, like I said. Elm Street's never been my favorite anyway. I'm a Friday the 13th guy.
You have 40 films with a 5 star rating
not even gonna bother counting your 4's cause there are tons
What's the worst rating you've ever seen a member of the fam give something on LB
I grew up reading Avengers and still do
let me live
Ok but this offends me

nothing hurt more than this.
I rewatched it recently. Still a masterpiece.

sorry fam. Gonna rewatch one day when I'm feeling particularly masochistic.
Hated slashers since I was like 10 and first aware of them. It's mainly the trash acting. I get the impression they chose the main actress at random from any grade 10 drama class in the country. The special effects werent bad, novel.
dude that is a major part of the appeal in slashers, the other half is great special effects. These were date movies that you would take your girl and hopefully get some action afterward, not critique Nancy's acting
Tbh im not the biggest horror fan here and I dont even watch many sequels but the OG Nightmare on Elm Street is a clossic. A1 special effects, the soundtrack, and just the fact Freddy has attitude and a sense of humor really make it stand out.
Other joints I digged were Maniac and The Hitcher.

The only Friday the 13th I liked is the one where he's in NY :datass:

I know what you mean but acting is something I focus on and appreciate heavily, so if the casting director is too lazy to put in the work to find decent young actors it hurts the film for me. Even though they were a highlight I've seen more a1 horror special effects in movies 60s years older than that. I'll give em b3.

DK gon DK..
I think you would enjoy Candyman, not only a slasher but nice take on urban decay taking place in the infamous Cabrini-Green Projects in Chicago. Nice soundtrack and themes from dusty horror too.
Rasie rated Die Hard 2.5 stars
Rasie at one point started giving the most unpredictable ratings ever. I can't even pinpoint his taste anymore. Only thing I know for certain now is that he loves Godard and has gotten more into the filmthread canon/Shrek's canon and isn't that much into more recent films being influenced by old Hollywood.

Candyman is cool, but I wish it was more trashy and less “prestige.” The second one is set in NO so I might have to check it out :datass:

Yeah I see what you mean. He’s active on KTT2 sometimes, so maybe he can explain his odd actions. @RASIE

I liked the prestige, I mean De Candyman is a debonair motherfucker. That coat alone :datass:
Anything in NO is worth checking out
