SufiCaughtWreckCan't say that. He still rapping only thing about it is you can tell Q-Tip trimmed off all the flair Danny built on his own.
There was supposed to be an extra verse on Dirty Laundry with a weird flow QTip removed. He made him record the album over and over until he lost his vocal inflection. I would love to hear another version in a few years where the original takes/mixes are shown. Like Raw Power

He explained in his Rap Radar podcast. Tip wanted him to go back and kill his voice. Like if he actually found Danny in the 90s while in Detroit (like he did with Dilla) as a teen and didn't have to wallow and wait till he was 30 on his own to pop. It was pretty much the price he paid to become the newest Native Tongues member. I think he just wanted to live his childhood dream.
