Yeah it’s pretty much the same as Far Cry 3, 4, 5. I wasn’t liking it at first but about around the time you leave the intro island I was having a blast.

I love how many unique weapons there are, reminds me of fallout. the resolver weapons are cool too

there’s no climbing towers in this game

but whatever you aren’t even playing the game obviously which is why you think there are towers so it’s not even worth having the conversation

and you clear enemies from camps in like 90% of action games (skyrim, Zelda, ghost of tsushima, metal gear solid, etc) so that’s a silly statement, it’s not a “ubi open world” thing

and you’re missing the point. It’s a different story in a different setting with new characters, that’s what’s important. the call of duty games all just blend together, they feel like they all have the same plot and that’s cause they just focus on multiplayer for the most part

Normally I’d agree with you but MW is comeplete overhaul for the franchise. New engine, amazing sound engineering, amazing gunplay, much more grounded than previous entries, etc. it’s essentially a soft reboot.

Maybe if FC did something similar these games would be less forgettable

bruh skyrim is not about liberating camps, or zelda, only it's newest interation.

It's a complaint for GoT and partially MGS and BOTW

All of Ubi's main franchises utiilize camp liberation as a main map and story objective. Only GoT relies on it as heavily, the others not as much and especially not skyrim, you're clearing different locations, not just camps. TES probably does map exploration and plotting the best imo of those listed

regardless the way you do so in ubi games, Divison, far cry, AC, watch dogs, is far more copy/paste than any of the titles you listed, and just cause there aren't towers in this one game doesn't erase it from all the other games in the AC and FC series

just changing setting, characters and location is lazy af. wasn't 4 a literal copy and paste of map? these same criticisms apply and are voiced for cod, ac, gta, most repeat games series, esp if the stories aren't continuations
