The hubris behind the statement "EU being over" can also be a far-right or far-left narrative, so I don't trust it. European countries simply accept US guidance on some international security policies through NATO, but under the Trump administration, they are untrustworthy. France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Ukraine all condemned them.
