Trusting in your health isnt gonna stop you from getting and transmitting the disease

Social distance. Wear your mask at appropriate times. Trust in your health.

Take 4000 UI of vitamin D daily, take multivitamins daily, don’t drink/eat anything with sugar, workout, only eat junk food once a week at max, trust in your health.

an official that was being interviewed on cnn today literally said for the “first time ever, we are seeing how the sausage is being made” in reference to the vaccines.

he said himself this is the first time in recent history that we had to do something like this

so yeah, i think it’s pretty reasonable for me to be hesitant of these vaccines

especially when a loved one just f***ing got the j&j vaccine and is in the exact group of people that it is affecting

now i have to worry about something horrible happening to them because of it

so yeah forgive me for not being a covid vaccine warrior. i have all my other vaccines, but this one i’m good on for awhile

You know this isn't about the J&J. If you don't wanna take J&J, that's fine, 2 other vaccines out there that don't cause bloodclots.
Yes, the process is going to be hastened, it's a global pandemic. This doesn't change other factors that also hastened the process, for example the 20 years of SARS research they already done done and all of the money being poured into it.
If you say "I'm hesitant to get the J&J vaccine because it caused a blood clot in a loved one" that's fine. That's not what you're doing. Please don't pretend that's what you're doing. You have been casting doubt about the vaccines in general all over this site and refusing to acknowledge what people say to you in response, continuing to pedal "it was too fast bro we just don't know!".
That's fine, you can stay inside and do your thing. But don't be surprised when people accuse you of baiting/arguing in bad faith when you've been doing the same thing for awhile now lol.

canada just reported the AstraZeneca vaccine (derived almost the same way,) just caused a blood clot case as well

My dude I am first going to say this nicely but I don’t really want to, carefully rethink your use of the word “caused.”

That being said IF YOU DONT F***ING UNDERSTAND WHAT CAUSED MEANS SHUT THE F*** UP.

Go google correlation does not imply causation...read it for hours on end until you f***ing understand.

Sorry for my anger but you can’t be making false claims like that.

    I don’t take vitamin D because I’m not deficient in vitamin D
I don’t take multivitamins because I get all my vitamins through diet
I eat things with sugar because they’re harmless in moderation
I eat junk food when I want to, sometimes less than once a week sometimes more

Now, I’d live to hear from you how these things will prevent a virus from infecting your body? Specifically, how vitamin D is involved in this?

So if one vaccine causes blood clots for someone in his fam, he should be comfortable trusting the other ones?

The vaccines are different. Pfizer/Moderna are constructed in a completely different way than the J&J. It's apples to oranges. The only thing they have in common is that they prevent sever COVID-19. (and that J&J has a much lower effectiveness)

So yes, it's ignorant to assume all the COVID-19 vaccines are bad and dangerous based off a slim interaction that people have with the J&J vaccine.

For reference, birth control likely causes more blood clots than the J&J vaccine will lol.

I understand that, and feel disrespected that u felt the need to type all that out for me.

My point was if they were late to find the problem with j&j why wouldn't he be a bit skeptical of the others.

And I'm pretty sure there was more than 1 vaccine with the same problem. Maybe not in the US tho

Okay but the thing is they haven’t found a problem with J&J vaccine, they are being cautious about a possible correlation.

From what I have read the numbers being reported are actually extremely close to normal occurrences.

This is why people need to be careful with their words and not saying things that are objectively false because they didn’t completely understand.

Astrazenica, which is built the same way as the J&J.

I'm sorry that you feel disrespected, but I can't infer your knowledge on the vaccines just from reading your post, especially when there are several users on this site and sxn that regularly spread misinformed opinions about them.

The other vaccines were made before, tested earlier, and have been in use longer than J&J. Like I said, if J&J caused a problem in a family member, I totally understand the skepticism (even if it's not actually linked, a point @Kapers makes.)

Hotpancakes' argument isn't about J&J, he's been doing this since before any of this ever erupted. He is continuously refuted in threads and is grasping for straws.

Was pretty dumb move for them to put this on hold. More people will die from not taking the vaccine because they now think there are serious issues with them, than people would have died from vaccine side effects. 6 people with issues out of 7 million? Why did they make a big deal out of this?
