Cigarettes one of the most confusing things to me. What is their purpose besides killing you and addiction?
At least with alcohol I can get tipsy and have a fun night.
If u dont smoke cigs often that nicotine high is nice af tbh
Nah f*** that, they ain’t taking my blue dreams
its funny because flavored vapes are still legit everywhere, banning them only made the situation 100x worse. Now 50-60% of place sell actually dangerous bootlegged disposables which contain ACTUAL dangerous chemicals. Disposables are EVEN MORE accessible than they were a few years ago but the majority aren't real. The only thing which basically doesn't exist is juul pods, but given disposables are not only cheaper but easier to find the FDA made the problem far worse than it ever should have been.
Sounds like bootleggers and sellers made it worse not the FDA
Why? If people want to smoke let them.
No one is stopping them from smoking, these are just menthols

FDA should have focused on bootleggers and fakes to begin with - they did a half assed job at regulation without thinking about anything or doing any real research. What happened is they banned basically the only legitimate sellers from the market without any further regulation, so they essentially booted the safest form (by a long shot) of flavored vapes from the market, allowed a ton of fake actually dangerous ones to flood in, then have done nothing since because they realized they have no idea how to actually handle regulating fakes. So now 80% of the market is incredibly dangerous as opposed to maybe 10% before the ban.

Thanks I didn't know any of this I don't pay attention to all cigarettes and vaping news but I think the ban was necessary because these companies use flavors to target minors. Humans are most vulnerable addiction when we start smoking young but I did notice after the ban nothing seems to change. These bootleggers got to go before gen z gets worse

I think the merits of the ban are debatable, but I don't think it makes sense that they banned the most regulated and arguably safest alternative. They basically just punished the company for being the biggest within the market rather than the most dangerous.
While it would have made them a monopoly sure, they basically already are (as is the tobacoo industry as a whole), so it would have been way more productive to ban disposables (which are overwhelmingly fake/bootlegged yet widely available - there's a 7/11 near me legit selling bootleg disposable vapes), and then let pods exist.
At least with pods you need a separate actual juul (or pen) to use them, which is also simultaneously harder for kids to get their hands on than disposables where they're like $15 ready to go cancer sticks
What?
Just another reason the thought police can come to your house uninvited, kill your dog, then kill you.

You're right, the first thing Lenin did when the Bolsheviks came to power was ban vapes I read that on reddit once as well

Seriously, In the conception of America 🇺🇸 banning things has never once worked.
The Government Bans - The Citizens Bootleg - The Government Kills & Jails - The Citizens Revolt - The Government Unbans ♻️
This is nothing more than over reach for another stem on the war on d****.
Your not from the US so you probably don’t know what I mean.
Cigarettes are honestly a good bartering tool, having some around for a rainy day wouldn’t hurt.
