as much as I love the story in this game, they NEED to start killing off some of the main characters. I got super emotional when graha tia "died" but then he was back 5 minutes later. there's soooo much plot armor in this game it's not funny. same thing with thancred.

agreed. legit though thancred died, but then a cutscene later, and he's good

i really like g'raha tia and glad he's been added to the main cast. so i don't mind the plot armor on him specifically.

Just finished the main campaign for Heavensward. The story was a ride and there was a much greater emphasis on character, which is exactly what I felt was lacking in A Realm Reborn. I really enjoyed the time spent with characters while out in the world, which made the game feel like less of an MMO and more like a single-player RPG (I especially loved the campfire scene in Churning Mists).

Super excited to see where the story goes in Stormblood.
