Just finished Stalker by Tarkovsky.....

I hate to say it but....

wasn't a pleasant experience

i really wanted to end up loving this, but i don't see the greatness (yet)

Even tho the kino community will flame me for this, i'd rather watch Annihilation a million times before i revisit this

Nah fam just seen 1917 yesterday and its a certified blassic

Rational response; I mean I see the appeal (tho not to that extent)

Emotional response; you guys really just see some orange lighting against the night sky and slap a 5/5 on it

Tbf i don't even give out many 5s but in the genre of war films it is the best i have seen so far so

still waiting for someone to fight me over giving Stalker 3* while it's like a 4,4 on Letterboxd and everyone seems to think it's the greatest film of all time

Don't know which one to go with right now i'm leaning towards Altered States because it sounds like a crazy film that's right up my alley

Nah. Don't really care about horror so haven't seen a lot of classics in the genre. Played Mike Myers in MW2 if that counts for something, though!
