Art shouldn’t be made by AI and given credit to man for typing in prompts and words.

Do you give any credit to the individual who patched their own comfyUI network?

I’d much rather see a s***ty performance than a good one that is semi fake personally. Actors get paid millions they can put in some time to form an accent to the best of their abilities.

Surely we can all make an exception for Aggro Dr1ft, where it’s essentially like a satire of the current moment vomited back at us

    Perfect use of AI

  • I feel like if you’re 100% against AI (which is fine) you should also be against CGI recreating dead actors. Idc how many people clicked a mouse to digitally create them, we can’t talk ethics and humanity in art but be okay with dead actors being digitally recreated for a film.

I dont like ad hominems but thats the kind of stuff you should be familiar with if you want to uphold your opinions on AI. There can be a lot more work that goes into AI workflows than just writing a prompt and getting the output. Theres so much juicy interesting nitty gritty in the programming artists could sink their teeth into

    Just use CGI then.

  • I get what y’all are saying tho
    It’s very complicated
I haven’t entirely worked out my thoughts on it
I just think we should remember where the danger lies, and that is in taking people’s jobs
Maybe it could be used as a tool, but probably shouldn’t be used as a replacement

Did I misread or did dude say his voice was mixed in to tweak letters/words here and there?

I dont make much at all with AI. I dont like using it on cloud so i run it locally so im slowed down a lot by my gpu. If i eventually upgrade it i would defs try something out like this

Im more interested in real-time use

Ive also used real time audio style transfer VSTs, these are really interesting and i think theres a lot to explore there. Also UVR5 is great for seperating instruments from songs and using them for sampling/remixes. Ive been doing that a lot recently

A year ago i generated a bunch of scifi user interfaces and comped them in photoshop then resampled it through my CRT, and then made an actual interface based on that, and comped it again with the image

But yeah 99% of the stuff i do is without AI

Yeah that’s the person being interviewed saying that?

So where was AI used on the voice that’s what I’m confused by. Niggas was saying AI was used to create his voice/accent
