Think that's the case as well. I had it on my TV, but ended up moving to my monitor because even with my TV's upscaling, it looked kinda rough. PPI on the monitor is much better, so it definitely looked cleaner on a smaller display.

I love this track, idk if thats just a violin drenched in reverb but its extremely hard
