I fear ur not going to be able to catch onto alot of things that happen then if you dont know how the og game goes

So far I’m really really enjoying the story, just played for 8 hours straight. Maybe I’ll replay it again after I play the og and get 2 unique experiences

I hate turn based combat too (literally only play them if they have a speed up function or non-random encounters or both) but I and others itt will tell u the remakes are not a replacement for the OG, so much s*** is playing on the fact that you know what happens already and making story changes accordingly

if that doesn't convince you then whatever but the story is straight up told 100x better in the og without anime grunting and extremely stilted voice acting and is actually paced very f***in well for an rpg

I’m loving the remake. f*** it maybe I’ll pick up the og on switch and give a go, but if it’s too slow or something I’ll just switch back to remake

Switch has a mode where u can put it in 3x speed
Thats how im replaying it before rebirth

I hope they will announce that XIII will finally be coming to PS5 once all the hype around this has died down.
