Yeah same I was also mixed at the end of the game with the CGI cutscene. What I understand is that she died in Rebirth but Cloud "saved" her at the same time in a another world? Because before he block Sephi sword you can see a rainbow on his bustersword

Gongaga was the exact moment when I mentally checked out of this game. I’m still so bent about the game. I loved it when I first played, but the s*** burned me out bad by the end

I’m kinda scared… I hope they tune the open world a bit back and make it more like the first remake. Rebirths open world was too big for its own good. Too much extra bullshit

Yes, that's true, but I think they've figured it out with Rebirth; they're going to dial in the minigames, etc.
I especially hope they'll manage the Highwind in the open world 1:1.

The excessive nature of Rebirth is one of its strongest points. Nothing was dialed back. Everything at 11. Never seen a game do something like that

My thought is. Remove the towers. Remove some of the missilanous stuff

Keep the mini games. Keep the scan enemies and fight big boss at end. Keep the story based side ones on the map.

Scrap the rest. Just pure bloat
