He's a legendary act and sure, he could have performed but his 'greatest hits' aren't AS great as you and a lot of others think.

He's a Hip-Hop legend and obv has hits but I'd argue that in terms of crossover, his biggest records kind of fall flat in that regard and didn't age the best.

The real issue that people are dancing around is that while he's Hip-Hop legendary, from a crossover perspective, the demand for Lollipop / Got Money / A Millie / Mrs. Officer / Duffle bag boy is just not there even if I personally would love a set like that.

Wayne is a legacy act at this point but his 'legacy' isn't that strong when you compare it to a Snoop / Dr Dre or other legacy acts that get that SB nod.
