ur dumb if u believe this

the allocation process to move to shipping only would probably do more harm than good

    https://sneakernews.com/2022/03/02/nike-foot-locker-update-2022/

    google.com/amp/s/www.barrons.com/amp/articles/foot-locker-stock-nike-51646160012

She said where she really believed Foot Locker had an advantage was in its global distribution. She said that Nike’s choice to reduce the amount of its products it sells via undifferentiated retailers was unexpected, noting that on Nike’s earnings call back on Dec. 12, the company said it was only 50% done with the project.

For the full year of 2022, Nike products, which includes Converse, are expected to shrink to 60% of Foot Locker’s mix, down from 70% for 2021 and 75% for 2020, McShane said.

It’s obviously not happening overnight, they’re phasing it out as they continue to build out their own distribution and entail presence

Nike will account for about 60% of total purchases in 2022, down from 70% in the past year and 75% in 2020, Foot Locker said.

They’re shrinking by an accelerated rate every year. Most of retail is moving to DTC strategies because of supply chain and raw input price increases

End of an era — wild

    RIP

Nike is moving to a direct to consumer model so all these retailers suddenly became way less relevant

Wonder if it will be easier to cop as a result since it’s all coming from one source

  • Mar 2, 2022

OR if nike will die out in relevance in the fashion because it’s easier to obtain

  • Mar 2, 2022

This. It's a completely different experience going into a store rather than just clicking a f***ing button

    Sneaker culture is dead 😔

Why don’t people want to have cool stories and stuff that goes with coping shoes 😔

Niggas think it’s cool to just press a button a day after release and pay 700 for some mid 😔

Or they go one dhgate and cop the fufu ones 😔

  • wusgood

Nah, once they pass the bill that makes it illegal to use bots then it’ll stop it significantly

    That’s a thing

Niggas going to congress about sneaker bots

Reselling between 2016-2017 was the goat. Footlocker champs and footaction apps always guaranteed a pair from each store basically. I remember every Saturday hitting up the mall going to each store then get a chick fil a biscuit at food court while I waited on buyers to come through and pick up their pairs. I wouldn’t even sell them that high to people because these apps had a 20 dollar coupon you could use so it was a win win for everybody. Now the new app sucks you can’t hit on s***. most of the releases come late now so you have to basically live at the mall to try to get a pair. Snkrs app sucks too and these local boutiques like social status like a ma maniere who act like they’re the greatest activist ever have s***ty workers who back door to people they know

a ma maniere people mad pretentious and corny
