BRICS itself isn't a threat. It's existed as basically a talk-shop between emerging economies for 15+ years. The only thing that's changed is a global reaction to US sanctions on Russia that deterred trust in USD. If US can start freezing reserves and using them for war funds, they can do it to anyone. So now everyone is looking to slightly de-dollarize where they can including BRICS thinking about their own internal group currency that would protect against USD sanctions.
People have this fantastical idea that BRICS is a NATO-like alliance or the G7. There's no binding treaty here its just a club of countries (some of which don't like each other) that understand the importance of working on key issues as developing states.
There's not going to be some flip in economic systems over this, but it sped up developments that otherwise coulda taken another decade. USD is still the world's reserve currency and will stay that way unless the US f***s it up. BRICS ads pressure sure but not as some evil plan to hurt U.S, its cus they need to save their asses
As a citizen of one of the member countries - y'all have nothing to be concerned about

do you think BRICS countries will use military force to incentivize weaker nations to move away from the dollar?

They don't need to do s*** honestly (this also isn't military-related).. the US thus far has made the entire de-dollarization case for them and is actively still making the case further with trying to use Russian assets to fund Ukraine.
Weaker nations have been sanctioned for decades abusively but blind eyes were turned cus it didn't affect things much so you didn't really need to convince anyone..they just needed an opening. Russia is a step too far that alarmed people and sets the stage for China.
BRICS has like 40 applicant nations and doubled membership last year and will likely expand further this year in Russia. But again this still kinda makes this all just a club rather than allied group. For example, Saudi is one of the US's most important allies, helps stabilize USD but also is now a BRICS member. Every developing country is spooked and looking for cover

Its leading us to nosedive into World War III over controlling Global Trade lmao
My friend is a devout redpill/passport bro follower and every so often try to tell me BRICS is gonna overthrow the USD and the US will become a third world country. Nigga was like, “I’m begging you to get your passport.”
