Life Is Good at this point was the best Nas album in 10 years (since Stillmatic), close to being a masterpiece, but still excellent
Nas really feels more grown up on this album and it makes a lot of the songs topics hit and resonate more
He’s finally escaped the mediocre production that held him back through most of the 2000s and nearly every beat on this album is so good
I really love the themes and reflection on this album it really sets it apart from everything else he had been doing before this for a while it’s much more focused
Only thing holding it back is I think it stumbles in the middle starting with Summer On Smash (that hook just never ends make it stop🤦♂️) but it swings back around at the end with the best songs plus some nice deluxe songs with Nas exercising his raps
as much as I liked Untitled this is the first proper album since Stillmatic I feel satisfied with as a whole package
9/10
Best songs: No Introduction, Loco-Motive, Daughters, Reach Out, Worlds An Addiction, Stay, Cherry Wine, Bye Baby, Nasty, Where’s The Love, Trust, The Don
Worst song: Summer on Smash

I'm very fond of this album, Section 80 and Good kid maad city. Loco-Motive
Cherry Wine
Them scratches on nasty
definitely was his best album since Stillmatic
he got in a zone after the divorce
Was killing features before and after this dropped like Ghetto Dreams, Let Nas Down Remix and Triple Beam Dreams,
@bruntz
So so real
Important album
Might be a hot take but I really liked NASIR, liked it back then and I like it now
Kanye cooked this album with maybe my favourite beats from the Wyoming Era a lot of big epic orchestral beats that reminded me of Life Is Good
as for the 7 Deadly Sins concept I think it works even if I don’t think there’s a real good payoff which makes the album feel like a short experimental side project than a proper new album but it’s still a good collection of songs
Lyrically maybe it’s a slight step down from previous albums but even then Nas is still leagues above other artists
I still think this is a very good album and in the upper half of his discography
8.5/10
Favourite Songs: Not For Radio, Cops Shot The Kid, White Label, Everything, Adam & Eve
Lest Favourite: Simple Things
not much to say about this one really it’s just a nice project
i think it’s too short like every album from that era
Life Is Good got me wanting to lower the scores of the albums before it
making them look weaker in comparison

Nah LIG is a great album but IWW s***s all over it bro
Nasir is not bad at all. Just came at a bad time for both Nas and Kanye. Nas has never seemed happy with that album too.
Adam and Eve is legit one of my favorite Nas songs.

One of Nas’ best albums personally

yea Kings Disease feels like the true follow up to LIG
not looking forward to LT2 for some reason
how you guys feel about it?
It's nowhere near as good as the first one. It's decent though. Not memorable or anything. It's mostly unreleased songs he recorded in the 6 year gap between Life Is Good and Nasir. Has a couple songs he recorded before Life Is Good.
ima be the third person to actually finish one of these
behind wesleystheory and mitch
keep the spirit alive
february felt like the longest month ever since i started doing these
gonna keep that energy flowing with another series
