Nas need to just do a "collaborations" album with Hit Boy tbh
Get the tracks that need to happen before the end of his career out the way.
Lupe, Cole, Kenny, Drake, Jay Elec, Blu, etc
I swear Lupe and Mas posted a picture n the studio some time ago
YKTV blew my mind last week
That joint blew my mind on my first KD2 listen. Soon as those dark woozy synths came it was game over

Revised album rankings + Top 20 songs on Saturday or Sunday

Interesting!
I thought it was clear that King's Disease 2 was better than King's Disease 1.
Nice review

the highs are higher but i think KD1 works slightly better as an album
probably helps KD1 is almost 20 mins shorter

I get what you saying.
I also knew that Nas would be more acrobatic with his wordplay on KD2 versus the first one like he was warming up.
He said in an interview that he's learned how to say more with less when he worked on KD1 but on KD2 you can tell he wanted to up the rhyming and s*** more.
MAGIC is f***ing FIRE, i just wanna say that now like, Nas is SPITTING on this album, the the rhymes and flows are crazy on this album, i’m floored by it he went insane fr
I was expecting just some chill songs to bridge the gap between KD2 and KD3 not just nonstop bars
sonically this album goes all the way back to
the 90s boom bap and it really feels like Nas has the 90s illmatic spirit in him on this album
I don’t think it has the highs of the Kings Disease series but it’s really just a nonstop ride with no real low points
9.5/10
Best Songs: Speechless, Meet Joe Black, 40-16 Building, Ugly, Hollywood Gangsta, Wu For The Children, Wave Gods, The Truth, Dedicated
Least Favourites: N/A

it’s really crazy how the Hit Boy era has just completely invaded the top tier part of his discography
it’s too early to call any of them classics but they’re all excellent rap albums

Hated that song, it grew on me though, especially the Nas Michael Jordon line
