the last PreP ended on thanksgiving. First shelter in place orders were early march. what accounts for that 5 month gap in silence save for some posts and merchandise?

Feel like fans were excited because:
1. He ‘finessed’
2. He’s getting money from his music and not being screwed over by another recording company like ever other artist

I think people can feel haply for him in that sense and still want music from one of their favorite artists

Not by some artists, but by industry and their connects. I’m guessing there are manufacturing and distribution companies that won’t work with him. And I’ll bet that there are plenty of artists that aren’t allowed to work with Frank because they’re label says no. It’s how the industry’s always worked, don’t see why it would change for him.

That’d be an issue if he was gunning for that #1 spot. Frank barely does promo, interviews, merch drops or drops singles.

People said that he’d get black listed for pulling that FYF Festival move couple years back and 3 years later he was headlining every major festival in the world and was going to be doing Coachella.

Any artist who Frank wants to work with will work with him, he’s not working with some B list guys who have no say.

The vinyl issue, as bad as it is, it’s an industry standard amongst many artists. Jai Paul’s vinyl hasn’t shipped and it’s been a year, Cole’s vinyl took more than 8 months. The issue is that there’s only a handful of manufacturers and so much more demand.

Frank will be fine, no one is blacklisting him. Even if they do, not like bro is submitting Grammy nominations or needing validation. He has a very secure and set team around him, has access to the best photographers, producers.

I’ll clarify, I don’t know for sure that he’s blacklisted. But to a certain extent, it’s very possible. And i think fans need to cut him way more slack as one of, if not THE largest artist acting completely independently.

I mean he recruited XL Recordings who are perhaps the largest indie record label in the world to press the Blonde vinyl, I feel like he’s just trying to half ass it rather than cough up his own money to get a big label again.

But if you follow Frank you’ll know it’s always been like this. Super secretive, veil of lack of communication and just overall stubbornness (which doesn’t make it okay) but it comes with the territory. There’s stories of the guy just being an absolute perfectionist/picky f***.
