117k is absolutely nothing for that place. I'm shocked it's not substantially more
after rewatching the set:
solo + solo reprise + wiseman + at your best renditions were beautiful and deserve to be recognized among the overall s***show

The producer who had a DJ set during Frank's performance
Everything about this performance was planned months ago
Who has clearest audio of her ice spice DnB part?

Damage control
Where do I start with her
you could listen to her discog in its release order tbh
deep river is her best album
MJ would've still put on a show
I said he used Endless to get out of his deal with Def Jam which is a fact and you said I have bottom of the barrel taste like I s***ted on it
Just shut the f*** up already man if we both think Endless is great what are we even arguing about
bro is still going on, my god get a life stop quoting me or block me
bro is still going on, my god get a life stop quoting me or block me
how about dont quote people on some dumb s*** and then get mad when they respond to your stupid dumb ass
finally most this song
why would you change up this song to play block chords on the acoustic like that. it doesnt sound good when buskers do it on the street and it doesnt sound good here
The backlash to this performance has been a bit excessive imo.
I think that people were already mad before it started because it wasnāt going to be streamed. I get that live streaming festival sets has become more common, but it still should be acceptable to not stream a set. If you want to see a performance, then go to see it live.
As for the actual performance, people wanted him to play āthe hitsā in a traditional way (i.e. as they sound on record) or play new material. He obviously did neither, but I donāt think that he should be criticized for it. The renditions that he gave were great (his voice sounded maybe better than ever), and the remixed instrumentals kept old material fresh. The house style of some of the remixes along with the DJ set made complete sense if you have been following him for the past 4 years. Hoping for new songs or an album announcement was wishful thinking.
With all of that being said, he should not have started an hour late (which also caused the early ending), the transitions between songs should have been smoother, and he should have actually sang during Nikes/Nights. All of these things should be criticized. But the end result to me isnāt a disaster of a performance, which is how itās being portrayed.
You do talk a bit of sense. Have no doubt, this was an extremely bad look, and undoubtedly a s*** show
