This type of thing doesn't happen at all in our day and age. You never have a track pressed to vinyl that wasn't released any other way and then have that vinyl canceled
25k is a bit too much, but this vinyl is the rarest s*** you can have rn, considering the whole context, so it makes sense to be overpriced
What do you think is a fair price?
What kind of person would even pay $1000 for this?
It's like an original copy of Camille or The Black Album, or rare Velvet Underground releases

The same kind of person that’s been buying rare Michael Jackson cassettes for 100k or whatever

Streaming killed physical album credibility

i have no idea. A vinyl that wasnt supposed to come out and being from frank ocean, probably seems reasonable to sell for thousands of dollars, but it is also a single and the song itself is not that good, so i would assume that also comes into factor.
even if you dont give a f*** about vinyls, this is a rare as f*** item

Comparing Frank to MJ is insane, high key disrespectful

nah its nowhere near that level. Unless you're a hardcore frank stan, you wouldnt even know these days even exist
$25,000 for a useless record with a demo on there.
Would be one of the worst leak buys of all time
fyi thats the studio version on there, the one we heard was the demo. It isn't a vinyl of a demo.
no B side halves the price. Considering we've alreadyy heard a rough idea of the track that's another slash at the price. We're looking at $6500 max

Songs not even that good by Frank standards

Basically my only intrigue w the studio version is how much of a step-up it is from that demo. Genuinely like the second part of it, iffy on the first but can't comment cause it's unfinished!

I’m sure it’s good, but nowhere near $25,000 good
Unless Frank announces retirement or something and that’s his last song
W the demo you can kinda see what he's working w just more so a question of can he land the execution
The last like 30 seconds ("told you.." onwards) of it w that staccato flow are excellent tho

Hm… I would like to live like that kinda
