Not sure how y’all feel about These Days but it’s one of my favourites, his writing is so sharp on it and contains some of his smoothest rapping. Love the gradual progression of his entire career from heartbreak and Odd Future to flying out to Rio for string arrangements.

Spoke with @mayday and hearing he's having a hard time with the movie. A lot of reshoots, and still casting for extras. He shoots, looks at the dailies and feels unsatisfactory then reshoots. They film for a couple of days until Frank backs out, and won't film again for weeks. He's really hard to work with and an unrealistic perfectionist - couple that with him being a first time director and you can probably imagine how much money has been sunk in it and the current dilemma.
His return will probably coincide with all these projects dropping like dominos but as of right now, the movie is a clear holdup. He's not retired and is really focused on music but also wants to get this project done to his standard.

Making a movie is so unbelievably difficult and tedious. Making a "good" one is nearly impossible unless you're one of the few blessed by the gods of film. I have serious doubts we'll ever get it based on how much he cares about quality control.
