Sep 6I will drive to Telluride tomorrow if so. If someone knows and can message me before I do I’d super appreciate it 🥲

phil troutWhat’s the word
Apparently there’s a super secret A24 screening tonight where they’re not announcing it until right before it starts. They’ve never done this before, it always gets announced at least a day in advance. They’re putting phones and everything else that can record into Yondr pouches for it, which is unprecedented for Telluride as well.
Julie Smitsinger, who is in charge of programming for the fest, in an interview with Vanity Fair also said this about the secret movie:
“This year something came to us that we agreed with the distributor that it will freak everybody the f*** out in the best possible way. Your jaw will be on the floor the entire time.”
She says it’s a film that’s not on any other festival lineups. There’s rumblings it might be the movie Frank has been working on, but who knows.

Decided against driving because I was told “trust me, it’s not Frank.” but this still seems super likely and will probably cry if it happens

Yeah, I wouldn’t drive there just based on these rumors. It is interesting though.
