where you see thus
â The mystery surrounding Tellurideâs secret A24 screening now appears to have been solved.
A source close to the matter tells me Nathan Fielderâs long-rumored project about Elizabeth Holmes is our answer. Yes, thatâs the 174-minute screening that will be shown this evening at Telluride.
The connection actually dates back to March 2025, when The InSneider reported that Fielder had made multiple visits to Holmes at the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, where she is serving an 11-year sentence. Sneider described the project as âtop-secretâ and suggested it could be a documentary or some kind of experimental project.
Six months later, the pieces appear to have fallen into place for a Telluride premiere. Fielderâs film is an A24 acquisition that was reportedly picked up only recently following a heated bidding war. A cut was shown, and it impressed enough that multiple studios were fighting to acquire it.
Obviously, with the project still being kept tightly under wraps, thereâs no release date yet â or even a title. But I gather that after tonightâs screening, weâll know a whole lot more.
Holmes is the disgraced founder of Theranos, the blood-testing startup that promised to revolutionize medical testing with technology that could supposedly run hundreds of tests from a tiny amount of blood. Theranos collapsed after reporting exposed that the technology did not work as claimed, and Holmes was convicted of defrauding investors. She was sentenced to over a decade in federal prison.
A Nathan Fielder project about Holmes was never going to be a typical documentary, so reports that the Telluride secret film is some kind of âhybridâ are pretty telling. Knowing Fielder, this is probably going to be very strange.â
Crine
Ain't no album.
Ain't no movie.
these rumours always sound like some frank s*** and always end up leading to nothing
tonight tho
Fxcking crine man. even down to the a24 distribution only for it to be a curveball in the end

@Campari

nvm but nathan fielder is goated too
Love Nathan fielder but thank god I didnât go. Would have been 12 hours of driving and I have actually been to one of his screenings before

itâs lowkey hilarious, the description being exactly in line with what we think we know frank has been working on (movie/documentary) with potential a24 involvement.
and to top it off it being some super secretive surprise screening which is 100% something frank would do
we canât catch a break
Frank waited too long to make this happen(when this was announced, A24 was still sort of a rising studio in Hollywood) and his concept is more then likely way too ambitious/risquĂŠ for everyone involved. I bet he had a lot of leverage in the beginning but ended up having none in the end.
If this film was going to happen, it would've happened a while ago imo
Should rename thread to Frank Ocean Nostalgia and Chat thread
I really think Frank has had his day. Dude is an artist from another time/era at this point

I love Felderâs work, but have no interest in seeing a movie about Holmes. So much has already been done on her and she isnât interesting.

he will make it interesting again

this was never gonna be Frank's film tbh... you don't edit a dreamy non linear film in just a couple months. I'd say this will spend minimum one year in post

they wrapped filming in May it is happening

This all got me thinking about the movie. Assuming thereâs music in it, are there any songs that leaked that you hope are included?

really just want cdq changes
I think the diary snippet, if released in full, would probably be my favorite song this decade
they wrapped filming in May it is happening

And then it turns out that this is the only thing theyâve filmed, Frank didnât show up on set for the rest.

Are we even sure this pic isn't AI?
