"Nature has the capacity, not only to heal but also to take on the purpose of those who have left. It becomes subconscious and is deeply within and it's there. Your brother is still there. He's is here and he is here all around us"
this part over that instrumental in the iceman one
Whoever liked @olaf post yall really hurting huh
Brent dropped a decent album
Steve lacy did too
The RNB world is starting to rustle
Frank has awoken
What did Frank make first ? Blonde or endless ?
Pretty sure from everything we know they we're worked on simultaneously. If I'm not mistaken Def Jam even tried to sue him for using studio time on music that didn't end up being used for endless (and instead was put on Blonde)

So in 2015 he had blonde and endless ready to go ?
i wonder what exactly happened that one year ?
When do you think futura free was recorded ?
Probably 2015 I think the interview is from 2014
Remember he sang in Spanish too on cayendo
Need that bad bunny collab
We are definitely getting a Rosalia collab
the more i listen the more i appreciate the scrapped rollout from 2019-2020
like DHL, In My Room, Cayendo, Dear April are all album quality Frank songs and it's interesting to see the direction of an album that probably won't exist to the general public
that wheezy pic for the new Homer campaign is ridiculously hard, I wonder what beat pack he'd play for Frank Ocean lmao

But I think he might be tapping him for drum programming maybe in the same way Bon Iver did for "IMI". (which carti then went on to sample
)

someone please point me to more music that sounds like the music underneath the acid interview
These were my least fave blonded episodes to be honest, very rambly and didn't enjoy that much.
appreciate Frank exploring that more but the scores weren't all that remarkable either, not even close to the emotion of the Wim Hof episode
i really wish i was frank's s***slave or something; i imagine all his boyfriends and flings live good lives.

Whenever the blonde and endless conversation comes up I feel like itās not appreciated enough that Endless, while it is sequenced to form an amazing and unique project all its own, is clearly the stuff from Blonde sessions that didnāt make the cut for Blonde. Just imagine the āsuburbia got a yard all this estate for my my mind to runā interlude fitting somewhere in the album next to a piece like Skyline To painting that young summer, and the wordless beach boys inspired āFloridaā fitting somewhere (frank has said Beatles and beach boys were big influences on Blonde and Florida is one of the most blatant examples of influence)
Frank is Francisco in Spanish and the nickname for Franciscoās is paco
Frank Latino album out soon
He chillin with a Filipina at your local jollibee

The whole endless was to Finish def jam contract thing is weird to me. How that ever work when itās not even available via normal means of purchase
That s*** dealt with more like an independent release than blonde
Why canāt def jam just drop it on streaming
Not the point of your post but reading your post put me on that thought path lol

I donāt really know about the label politics of it
And I love that it was treated as itās own project and released before the āmainā album as opposed to something like untitled unmastered or Radioheadās Amnesiac. But thatās just a matter of execution
Endless is just the best executed āb sidesā project of all time and thus it stands on its own
But itās still just the leftovers from Blonde sessions at its core and I feel when people make too much of a separation between the two they might be missing the point a little bit. I donāt believe there was blonde sessions and endless sessions it just all came from the same sessions. The projects were sequenced great so they form standalone unique projects but if weāre talking about the creative process those pieces were all most likely intended for blonde imo

The thing that kinda drives a wedge in this Blonde/Endless all same sessions thing is Malay is not credited anywhere on Endless and Ommas Kieth only has piano credits on At Your Best, neither have any engineering/production on it at all. I believe Endless sessions were towards the end of Blonde process and some songs were exchanged like Mitsubishi Sony
