What gave you the desire to pursue music as a career?
It was a driver to get out of the neighborhood. I remember feeling no attachment to music necessarily, more an attachment to what music could bring if I succeeded, you know, financially. And that meant freedom from my situation at the time, and maybe what I was projecting onto my own future.

925AndrewI think the biggest issue I have is A) the multi million lab grown jewelry, but even that is something I can get to be sustainable or so I’d assume. My B) issue is how the store is so exclusive you have to make a reservation to shop there which I think is stupid as f*** and shows he really only cares about the jays of the world. I wasn’t gonna make a huge stink like Americana but what I did notice is 30 of my friends posting about his coming back on social media like it’s a huge deal when really what he’s doing now is almost turning his back on his core music fan base the way Rihanna has done recently. Which sucks but it is what it is. Hopefully he really does come back for 2023
Artist like Rihanna and frank ocean doing business venture other than music when they’re in their 30’s is not them abandoning fans it’s called life lol and making a shop reservations only is not a foreign concept at all dude

I agree but I’m pinning Frank specifically because he’s the type of artist to make it easier for fans to build up delusions because of more “mysterious” persona and not opening it up about his personal life/habits like that (even tho it’s still quite on surface as mentioned itt)
