alright is this worth signing up for Peacock? I really enjoyed the first episode
you dont have xfinity?
Is it good?
It is reasonable especially if you detach it from original in all ways
this carlton arc better pay off or the entire show gon fall apart
redeem this lame ass nigga man
Hollywood has no original ideas anymore
Exactly
No one wants to come up with new stuff so all they do is reboots after reboots, same with the video game industry
Low effort high reward
To give it a fair chance, you shouldn’t compare this to the OG fresh prince and consider this as a show on it’s own.
That said.. this is sooo ASS

If anything just wait for the whole season to air then get a free trial then binge it
bruh they made a point of showing both them dudes spitting game and going at females
they probably gonna make hillary or ashley gay/bi or something.
that's how they always do on these shows though. Make them look one way then switch it up to push the next type of popular subject/topic
all american did a similar thing after a couple of seasons
Yo I swear Geoffrey really don’t be doing s***
thats what im saying. the guy just walks around handing out phils cash
and he acts like some mysterious hitman
Exactly

It’s not 100% that
Tons of original ideas are had and many are made, the problem is that studios are risk averse. They’re not going to push out and market something original and unproven that isn’t guaranteed to make money. They’re going to put out what the audience is familiar with.
It’s the current state of the industry but to say there are literally no original films/shows coming out is flat out wrong
Plus most stories follow the heroes journey archetype and how many different ways can that be done in its thousand year history?
It’s not just the creators it’s the consumers

I was about to say, reboots and remakes make up a very small percentage of films and shows that come out lol
Kinda hope they don’t flop the Carlton d*** addiction storyline. In the original, the episode when he OD, is quite literally the first time I ever shed tears to a TV show/movie period. I was like 7-8 years old when I saw it.

Funniest s*** is Ashley showing up in the first episode and then never being show again

if they wanna do that, it's 100% gonna be revealed that Uncle Phil had a college butt buddy within the alpha frat like how they did frank underwood in house of cards

Loooooooool
calling it great is a massive reach...
No, it isn't. And if you feel that way don't watch it again. Problem solved...
