@op real
You might be the only one who understands me, Goku.
"I’m convinced that the only right way to do this game called life is to instill in yourself the deeprooted belief that you are a good person and you mean well, and that the mistakes you make can never define nor tarnish that core truth about you."
Want to highlight this part because this part spoke to me in particular. Sometimes it feels like we carry the weight of our previous actions on our shoulders and allow them to define us, or at least feel like they do.
We don't always make the right mistakes and we don't always do right by people but it's important to forgive yourself. A lot of us do bad things in this life, but don't let those things define you. You are still capable of changing and becoming a good person.
You'd be surprised at how much more positive life and your social interactions become when you aren't walking around with weight of self guilt and self demonization on your conscious
damn this is REALLL
I don’t know how. Having positive thoughts about myself feels dishonest
Let’s talk about it
Went sober a few weeks ago it’s a start. not easy dealing with ptsd but I’m managing

I feel this
Ngl I'm not doing so good rn. I feel like crying all the time, simply bc I can't seem to mentally block out all the suffering that's constantly present in the world.
Been feelin this way this week as well
Taking some time away from all the distractions, focusing on bettering yourself and liking who you are is genuinely life changing,
@op is speaking facts always

Got you bro, guys gotta look out for eachother more
Having realistic goals and expectations for yourself is part of being kind to yourself, it’s not just about doing nothing and trying to feel good about it, deep down you know what’s right for you and doing the right thing by you is what’s kind!
Nope. Being hard on yourself only promotes discipline. Necessary life skill
