!https://youtu.be/figArXQYKaoThat was the first boss I had to leave and come back to later when I was better. I would die in 2 hits
I love when this thread gets bumped because it reminds me of how difficult it was to get over the hump and learn the controls

Finally beat him, I think I've been coming back to this guy on and off since like August, must have died to him well over 100 times, no joke
Now I can progress in the game; gonna try to beat the one-armed swordsman who kicks you a lot now
im struggling so hard with lady butterfly right now
parry parry parry hit hit hit run circle repeat
parry parry parry hit hit hit run circle repeat
you can literally stun lock her with circle slashes

seven spears is the boss fight i had to do the most times ever, more than any bosses in sekiro after that. its the fight that made me good at these games
now im goat at elden ring
you can literally stun lock her with circle slashes
i did that the first time but when i tried her again i tried parrying aswell and it felt easier for me
but that might just be bc i got better at the game not sure

once you realize sekiro is essentially a rhythm game it becomes much easier

yeah i wish there were more games like it
that feeling of parrying an enemy multiple times and then mikiri is the best feeling ive had in a game
f***ing easy
I beat it like 5 minutes after I posted that lmao but I was struggling before that. never really played any of the souls games, from what i’ve read/watched that probably helps me with sekiro in the long run

Definitely lmao I was a souls vet and ragequit sekiro for like 2 years right from the start because it was so different
I fw it heavy now tho, platinum’d.
3 hours in and i though i was getting the hang of this game but this nigga General Naomori Kawarada killed me more than 30 times lol
Dodging is hard, blocking is hard, sometimes my hits make the enemy flinch but sometimes it doesnt and this dangerous blows mess up my timing. Really need the mechanics to click for me
I died so many times the game gave an illness to the sculptor
Loving elden ring so far but i can only imagine how much more i'd love it it had combat and animations as good as this game.

That would be difficult.
Idk how I'd rank most of them just because once it clicks I love how every single one of them plays
Pinnacle of video game design
I wish they could make something like this again
